From her early years, she had the opportunity to travel the world with her family which exposed her to many different cultures and languages. The family was always involved in business in France and South Africa. During those years she learned several languages. She worked as an assistant nurse in a hospital for a year and then with an international real estate company. From 1976 to 1981 she studied history, art history, German literature and political science in Bonn and Munich. In 1981, Alexandra married her husband, a German citizen. The family lived in Venezuela from 1981 to 1983 and during this time she had the opportunity to study the Spanish language. From 1984 to 1987, Alexandra lived in South Africa on a family owned stud and fruit farm where the Pesch family raised two children. Coming back to Germany, they founded a real estate investment company. Since 1994, the family resides in Palm Beach, Florida and has continued to stay very much involved in real estate - be it assisting with getting homes ready for a sale, assisting with sales and purchases, as well as buying and selling for personal investment purposes.
